The Biolabs Library no longer exists as a separate entity. The collection has been merged into that of the Ernst Mayr Library (MCZ). You are always welcome to visit, but we are also happy to deliver desired books to you, and to copy, scan and email journal articles.

Library hours when classes are in session are 9:00 am - 6:00 pm and on Saturdays from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm (except holiday weekends). When there are no classes, for instance during January Term and Summer, we revert to 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

For items that Harvard doesn't own, Interlibrary Loan is available. Email me or ILL to request a book or article. You can also use the new Borrow Direct service to get books from other universities.

You can renew books online. In HOLLIS, click on My Account/Renew highlighted at the top. Log in and you can view all the items you have checked out and renew any that are due. Note that you can only renew online five times; after that, you can either bring the book in and check it out again (assuming that no one has requested it), or email me and I can renew it manually for you.

The Library has many quiet spots for studying. There is also a candy jar and coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Please visit!
