HUES Requisitions:

The human embryonic stem (HUES) cell collection at the present time consists of 17 stem cell lines (HUES 1-17). All 17 lines are available to researchers. If you are interested in obtaining HUES cells, we suggest in the first instance that 4 cell lines, two male and two female, will be sufficient for most research. If additional lines are required, please note this in your request below.

Following receipt of your request, Harvard’s Office of Technology Development will send you documentation that must be signed by the principal investigator and an authorized institutional official and returned before HUES cells can be distributed. Procedures for receiving and executing these agreements with OTTL can be found at: Materials Transfer Agreement and Certifications.

We currently estimate that you will receive the required documents within 4-6 weeks of the date your request was submitted to the web site. This time frame accounts for our processing speed for the numerous requests we have received and the mail transit time to your facility.

Investigators seeking replacement vials should request them through our website.   They will be required to sign another MTA and IURAL, but will not have to complete another verification statement.(4/13/05)

To request cell lines, please fill out the following form. If you have any questions or comments, please use send e-mail to hues@mcb.harvard.edu.
