As a postdoc with a computer science background, I’m working on data processing and analysis related to the connectomics studies of neural tissue volumes acquired with electron microscopy. I will try to develop faster and more efficient algorithms for data stitching, registration and segmentation. In addition, I’m also very interested in biology, so I’ll collaborate with other biologists in the lab to answer biologically important questions.
