For my PhD research, I’m trying to understand how cells coordinate growth and division to regulate their size, and am studying this question in budding yeast. Coming from a physics and maths background, my research combines methods in stochastic modeling and experimental microbiology. In addition to my research project I’m also pursuing a specialization in computational science and engineering.
