Ashley Johnson is the interim Program Administrator for the MCB and CPB concentrations. She helps administer the MCB/CPB Tutor Program and research courses (MCB/CPB 99 and 91), and coordinates events for the MCB/CPB concentrations. Ashley also serves as the point person for MCB’s curriculum. She liaises between the Registrar, the Office of Undergraduate Education, and department instructors and handles tasks related to the course catalogue, schedule of classes, classroom reservations, and Canvas. Ashley is also the Undergraduate Program Coordinator for the Human Biology, Behavior, and Evolution concentration.
Ashley received her BA in Biology from Wellesley College and her PhD in Ecology, Ethology, and Evolution from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she studied the evolution of fish color patterns. She has extensive experience in STEM education and outreach and is an advocate of bicycle commuting. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her two wonderful children.
