MCB faculty Joshua Sanes is part of a coalition of scientists who are attempting to map and characterize all of the cell types present in mammalian brains. His lab is one of several at Harvard performing genomic analyses to study single-cell RNA expression in various cell types. The team, known as the Cell Census Network, recently published a 10 paper package in the journal Nature.
