The graduate student members of Harvard’s Mind/Brain/Behavior (MBB) Initiative are pleased to announce their second annual conference, to be held May 11th and12th. This year’s conference, “War:  The Science of Conflict”, will present research on both social and organismic perspectives on the nature of conflict.

The MBB graduate community brings together students from widely differening areas of expertise to share their perspectives on similar problems, with the goal of reaching a better understanding of all things mind, brain, and behavior.

In addition to graduate students presenters at the May conference, faculty speakers will include Harvard faculty Jeff W. Lichtman (MCB),  James H. Sidanius (Psychology) and Everett I. Mendelsohn (History of Science).  Sara M. Lewis of Tufts University’s Biology Department will also talk.

The conference will be held during the day on Thursday, May 11, and Friday, May 12, in Yenching Auditorium, 2 Divinity Ave. All talks are free and open to the public.  No advance registration is required.
