We also recognize that Thanksgiving holds different meanings for members of our community. For some, it is a time of reflection or a Day of Mourning, acknowledging the historical and ongoing injustices faced by Native American communities. Some may spend the holiday with chosen family or celebrate in ways unique to their traditions and values.
