About Me

I am a graduate student in the Srivastava Lab, where I study how pluripotent stem cells develop and persist throughout adulthood in the highly regenerative acoel Hofstenia miamia. I am broadly interested in the overlap between development and regeneration across metazoans, with a focus on the use of non-traditional organisms.

I am a Massachusetts native, receiving a dual B.S. in Biology and Anthropology from Brandeis University before coming to Harvard. There, I worked with Dr. Paul Garrity to study how temperature and humidity sensation contribute to host detection and blood-feeding behavior in Aedes aegypti mosquitoes, a major vector for dengue and zika virus. I also studied methods for transgenesis in insects and biological strategies for mosquito pest control.

Beyond the lab, I am passionate about scientific education and mentorship. I aim to make science more inclusive and less intimidating in both the classroom and laboratory settings. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, reading, and cooking.
