My research focuses on advancing the field of imaging biological samples through Cryo – Electron Microscopy (Cryo-EM). These projects include novel approaches to high-pressure freezing for sample preparation and imaging based microfluidics, implementing new techniques for time-resolvable Cryo-EM through cryo-plunging and incorporating labeling-specificity; to study dynamics of biological phenomena on a microsecond time scale corroborated through super-resolution imaging.
